For more than thirty years, our mission at Ascalon Design has been to create timeless and beautiful products inspired by gardening history that help our customers enrich their homes and gardens. Who better to share this passion for heritage with than the National Trust, the conservation charity who looks after hundreds of historic gardens with a rich history of horticultural design?

Working in collaboration, we have created a range of garden furniture and structures inspired by our shared love of nature, beauty and history. Each item embodies the timeless heritage we both value and is available for an affordable price.

Sales from this collaboration will raise funds to support the National Trust’s vital work to look after historic places and green spaces.

Created in collaboration with the National Trust, the Ascalon Design ‘National Trust – Oak’ collection is a carefully designed range of garden furniture, structures and decorative ornaments, featuring an oak leaf motif inspired by the National Trust’s logo.

The collection is characterised by a simple yet elegant oak leaf motif, reflecting both the collaboration with the National Trust and the importance of the oak trees to UK Wildlife and habitats.

The range has evolved to offer a wider choice of products for retailers and end-consumers, including different sized seating, structural garden features and decorative wildlife-friendly accessories.

Key products within the collection include the Oak 5-piece Dining Set, Oak Bistro Set, Oak Bench and the decorative Oak Arch. Additional design features such as decorative windchimes and stakes, including a bird dish stake, help extend the range into ornamental and wildlife-friendly garden accessories.

Together these products provide options for different garden styles and sizes, from intimate seating areas to larger outdoor dining spaces and decorative planting or wildlife areas.

The classic antique green rust and brown rust toned finishes create a timeless aesthetic, enhancing natural garden settings without overpowering their natural beauty. Made from powder-coated steel with an anti-rust coating, products in the collection are designed to withstand the variable British weather whilst aging gracefully in the garden.

At the end of their life cycle, the metal can be recycled and reprocessed, allowing the raw ingredients to be used again and again.
